Most of my research has focused on the practice of working with students as partners for quality enhancement purposes.

I previously led UCL ChangeMakers, which supports students and staff to work in partnership on enhancement projects, to enhance departmental practices and to review teaching. Following that, I became an Associate Director of the Arena Centre at UCL, where I led on the support for staff at UCL writing TEF subject submissions for the second subject pilot and worked on aligning QE and QA practices at UCL. Since November 2019, I have led the QE and QA teams at the University of Greenwich. In that time I have written the university’s Degree Outcomes Statement, revised our programme structure changes procedure, overseen the streamlining of change procedures in light of Covid-19, co-developed our No Detriment (ND) policy, chaired the review of the ND policy, initiated the development of a curriculum framework for the university, overseen the review of our PGCert and the development of our ABLE Moodle site to support staff with the transition to blended learning.
